FREE COACHING SCHEME FOR SC CANDIDATES

 

Free Career Oriented Coaching Scheme for Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI), Pune An autonomous institution working under the Department of Social Welfare Government of Maharashtra, National Commision of Scheduled Caste (NCSC), Maharashtra and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) (Premier R&D institute and Scientific Society under Department of Information Technology Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Government of India) have jointly taken initiative to offer 24 weeks full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) programme to 300 candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) Category.

The objective of this programme is to provide career opportunities for the SC students in the ICT industry.
Benefits
The selected candidates shall be benefited with the following additional benefits
1. Orientation Program prior to commencement of the course.
2. Stipend of Rs. 4000/- per month during Pre-DAC & of Rs. 6000/- per month during the training of DAC programme shall be paid.
3. Course material shall be provided.


Education Qualification :
Eligibility :
Graduate in Engg or equivalent (Ex. BE/B. Tech/4 years B. Sc Engg./ AMIE/ AIETE/ DoEACC B level etc) in Electronics/ Electrical/Computer Science or related areas.

PG in Engg. Sciences (E.g. MCA/M. Sc. Engg, M. Sc. (Instrumentation, Electronics, CS, IT, EE, etc).

Post Graduates in Math or allied areas (Ex. Statistics, Applied Math).

PG in Physics or Computational Sciences/Post Graduates in Computing or Management are also eligible provided they hold graduation degree in Sciences.
The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination.
Final semester of qualifying degree candidates can also apply
